Attorney Jezek received his B.A. degree from Connecticut College in 1974; a Master’s degree from
University of Connecticut in 1975; and his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of
Law in 1978. He was selected for a judicial clerkship by the Connecticut Judicial Department in 1978 and
served until 1979, after which he entered the private practice of law. He is licensed by the State of
Connecticut and Federal District Court for Connecticut. Attorney Jezek is a past president of the
Middlesex County Bar Association and member of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has served the
Judicial Department as an attorney-trial referee, fact finder, pre-trial attorney and foreclosure
committee. The office is an approved title attorney for Chicago Title Insurance and Connecticut
Attorney’s Title Insurance Company (CATIC). Attorney Jezek provides pro bono services to numerous
non-profit and civic groups and to Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut. Attorney Jezek is a lifetime
member of the East Haddam Lions Club and traveled to the East. He resides at Bashan Lake in East
Haddam with his wife, Shea.
Attorney Deborah L. (Devenney) Barbi was raised in East Haddam and is a graduate of
Nathan Hale-Ray High School (class of 2008), Gordon College (class of 2011, summa cum
laude), and Quinnipiac University School of Law (class of 2015, magna cum laude). Attorney
Barbi became partners with Scott W. Jezek in 2019. She is licensed to practice in all
Connecticut courts and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Middlesex County
Bar Association, and the East Haddam Community Lions. She is also a member of the Board
of Directors of East Haddam Youth and Family Services. Attorney Barbi lives with her
husband, Massimiliano Barbi, and her two young children in East Haddam.
Attorney Antone is a graduate of Old Dominion University and University of Connecticut School of
Law, where she received both her Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Laws (LLM). She brings to the firm
a decade of legal experience in the general practice of law, including real estate, probate, and
corporate law. She is an active member of the East Haddam Community Lions. Attorney Antone
resides in East Haddam with her husband, Tom, and their four children.
Attorney Lomme has practiced in Middlesex County since 1980 when he graduated from the
Quinnipiac College School of Law. Prior to attending law school Attorney Lomme was a Fact
Finder for the State Labor Department and is a veteran. His practice has focused primarily on
Probate, Zoning and Real Estate transactions. He is the former President of the Middlesex
County Bar Association. Attorney Lomme is the Former Judge of Probate for the town of East
Haddam and has been the Judge for the nine town Saybrook Probate District since its inception
in 2010. Judge Lomme has served on the Executive Committee of the Probate Assembly since
his election in 2010 and frequently presents programs regarding probate procedures to the public.
He currently lives in Essex with his wife Bette.
